Frequently Asked Questions:
I've never taken yoga. Where do I begin? Basics classes are designed for beginner students. The basics focus mainly on proper body alignment and breath work. You will also get an introduction to Vinyasa (moving in a flow). It may seem difficult at first but don't give up! The benefits are well worth it.
How often should I come? Typically, students attend class a couple of times of week but you should practice as much as you can. Even if it's just for 15 minutes a day.
What do you do in your classes? Our classes typically incorporate floor work, standing poses, balancing poses, inversions, backbends and forward bends. The intensity depends on each student and the level of the class. We usually do a combination of vinyasa and held poses; and always emphasize body alignment, breath and mindful movement.
